John Love
This is the first time that the Memorials of John Love has been reprinted since they were published in 1857. The sources from which the volumes had been compiled were the diary and other shorthand manuscripts which Dr. Love left after his death. They possess much of the character of an autobiography with the addition of a series of important original papers on both theological topics and experimental divinity.
Such views of divine truth and of the nature of true godliness, as are here exhibited, are greatly needed in this age of much noise in religion, but in great measure of obvious inward deadness and ignorance of God.
